New Performance Insights Metrics Announced for Google My Business

Google My Business Insights just got new performance metrics updated. According to Google, business profile performance reporting is now even closer to your profile on search and maps. What this means now is that your business profile will now be able to show more of the core profile metrics directly. This is of course keeping in line with Google’s efforts to straighten up things making access simpler.

Google also added that they start from interactions, which will let you know how often people might have contacted you. Number of people to whom your profile became visible and detailed reports about searches will also be updated in next coming metrics in few months. This new addition of metrics to performance reporting will also see removal of older versions of the same metrics from Google My Business web and app platforms. More is to follow in soon upcoming updates from the search giants.

These performance reports, according to Google are as of now available on search. These will soon be available on Maps.

You will be able to access this data for up to six months. By selecting custom time frames, you can review performance with interaction metrics also updated on a daily basis. Other important metrics will be updated on monthly basis as well.

Google My Business continues to be the platform to be to announce your presence. Google My Business listings tend to make searchers know exactly what you are offering and where they can get it. This new update that will allow performance to be reviewed in your profile is set to make things easier and simpler.
